Introducing

The main purpose of the program is to train internationally competent researchers in all fields related to statistical sciences, who are investigative, inquisitive, prone to collaborative work, up-to-date in the application and theory of statistical techniques.

This program provides students with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to prepare students who plan to pursue careers in research and teaching and students who wish to pursue a doctorate.

Students who successfully complete this program earn a Master's degree.

Statistics Thesis Master's Program, like other Thesis Master's Programs, consists of at least seven courses, a seminar, other learning activities (if any) and thesis work, provided that they are not less than 21 credits and 120 ECTS credits. Of the 120 ECTS credits, 60 ECTS credits consist of lectures and seminars, and 60 ECTS credits consist of specialization courses including thesis work.

To be considered successful in courses, graduate students must receive at least a CB grade. The student must be successful in compulsory courses. Different courses can be taken instead of failed elective courses.
